Intro
The House of Museums (local museum) is run by the Heimat- und Kulturverein and is located at Aeussere Dorfstrasse 146, 3718 Kandersteg, former Army Pharmacy Building (ASM) /
The museum of local history is run by the local history society and is located in the village next to the municipal administration/tourist center. It documents the history of the village, especially the influence of the traffic routes over the Lötschen and Gemmi passes as well as the railroad construction and tourism. Of course, trade, handicraft and sport also get their deserved place.
The scout museum is also integrated.
