What to experience
Exhibition "Man and Time" (60–90 minutes)
Follow the tour of the main exhibition and follow the development of timekeeping from the sundial to the atomic clock. See masterpieces of Swiss watchmaking, including works by Breguet and Jaquet-Droz. Interactive stations make the technology behind the movements tangible.
- Good to know: Audio guides are available in 5 languages and can be played via smartphone.
Watch watchmakers at work (20-30 minutes)
In the museum's glass-enclosed restoration centre, you can watch watchmakers at work. Here, experts restore historic clocks and put filigree movements back into motion. Their goal is to preserve as many original parts as possible.
