Around Grächen and the Hannigalp, four different themed trails lead through forest and mountains: The wildlife trail provides knowledge about alpine animals, the Shinrinyoku trail invites you to forest bathe, the Fragender Rundweg asks questions about life and the SiSu & Friends play trail offers fun for families.
What you can experience
Grächner Wildlife Trail (4 hours)
Hike via Hannigalp and Stafel up to the Heidnisch Tossu at 2502 meters. Information boards and adventure stations provide information about chamois, marmots and other alpine animals along the way. The challenging trail takes you deep into the mountains above Grächen.
- Good to know: The path is demanding and requires good physical condition.
- Tip: Bring binoculars to observe wildlife from a distance.
Shinrinyoku Trail® (11/2 hours)
Stroll slowly along the 1000-meter-long Shinrinyoku Trail and consciously immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the forest. Places to linger invite them to listen, touch and see and the mascot SiSu playfully accompanies children through the stations.
- Good to know: Shinrinyoku means forest bathing and serves to slow down.
- Tip: Consciously take your time and enjoy each station in peace.
Questioning circular route (11/4 hours)
The circular trail starts and ends at the Hannigalp mountain station and takes you to 30 unusual questions about life. Scan the QR code on the question marks and be surprised by the answers – ideal for conversations with family or friends.
- Good to know: Start and finish are at the Hannigalp mountain station.
- Tip: Discuss the questions together with family or friends.
SiSu & Friends Play Trail (30 minutes)
Explore with SiSu and his friends the pram-friendly circular trail on the Hannigalp. At 7 outdoor stations such as the XXL water ball run, the climbing kobel or the forest bingo, exercise, brain teasers and imagination await. A wooden ball from the Tourist Office accompanies you as a play partner through all stations.
- Good to know: The way to play is free, the wooden ball costs extra.
- Tip: At the Hannigalp family mountain restaurant, another marble run awaits.
