All good things come in threes: For Ever Mozart
In August, Mozart highlights will resonate in the beautiful Baroque city, making the third Mozart Festival Solothurn a true event. The renowned Salzburg-based orchestra Péridot, under the direction of Peter Peinstingl, will once again bring historically informed Mozart sound to the Ambassador City. The renowned pianist Maki Wiederkehrt performs Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21 in C major, K. 467. She had her first piano lessons at the age of three. Lisa Schatzman, concertmaster of the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra and acclaimed soloist, will also bring her international fame to the concert stage. Young Mozart tenor Remy Burnens, on the brink of a major career, will be a guest at the Mozart Festival Solothurn.

On the 270th birthday of the Salzburg master, Mozart highlights will be heard in Solothurn in August. The program includes the overture to Le Nozze di Figaro, Piano Concerto No. 21 in C major, KV 467, and the Haffner Symphony.
