Attended huts in Bern Region

The hike from the Urbach Valley (a side valley of the Hasli Valley) takes 4 to 5 hours. Off the beaten track, with a view of the glaciers and glacier forefields... well-known because of Switzerland Tourism's "Steinträger" (Video).

The family-friendly mountain hut in the Gelten-Iffigen Nature Reserve, operated by the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC), offers 90 dormitory beds with duvets.

The cozy, remote hut is located at 1,805 meters in the Hohgant-Seefeld nature reserve, on the border from Emmental to the Oberland, between Kemmeriboden and Habkern.

High above the Unteraar Glacier, the hut lies at 2393-meter altitude on a rocky outcrop in the Grimsel region.

The views of the Bernese Oberland from the four alpine huts are simply spectacular. The huts are off the beaten track, yet easy to reach (both summer and winter). Each accommodates two to three guests and provides comfort for any standard.

The caretaker couple receives visitors to the classical hiking paradise Schynige Platte – Männdlenen – Faulhorn – First in the Jungfrau Region in the charming mountain house.

Located at 2,262 meters, high up in the Lauterbrunnen Valley, at the foot of the north-west ridge of the Grosshorn, in the midst of the UNESCO World Heritage Region "Swiss Alps Jungfrau–Aletsch".

Sitting on the high plateau of the Sulsalp, above Isenfluh / Sulwald in the Lauterbrunnen Valley, the charming log cabin offers a sweeping view of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
