Dedicated to modern design and built from Appenzell moon wood, the new 4-star superior Hotel Huus Löwen combines contemporary comfort with the warm atmosphere of the Appenzell region. The 24 rooms are located on the upper floors of the historic village inn with a modern extension. There are three categories. Those who choose the historic part of the house benefit from traditional knitted construction and a spectacular view of the Alpstein. You spend the night in centuries-old walls, and in the suite the restored roof beams are exposed. The bright family rooms are a welcome mix of fun and privacy for the whole family with a king-size bed for the parents and up to two children in the modern bunk bed. Panoramic windows and an upholstered bench invite you to look at the mountains and stars together.Gastronomy, summer terrace and the large Löwensaal offer space for private parties, corporate events, concerts and cultural highlights of all kinds. A place of endless possibilities: opened in 2023, the 100 m² Löwensaal is crafted from Appenzell moon wood and features large windows that fill the space with natural light and offer inspiring views. It accommodates up to 80 guests and includes a romantic garden for refreshing breaks in the open air. Equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, a video conferencing system, and Click & Share technology. Guests enjoy first-class, creative cuisine, personal consultation, and a wide range of team-building activities in the wild and romantic mountain landscape surrounding the Säntis.
