Wattenwil is located on the southern edge of the wide Gürbetalebene, and offers great opportunities to hikers, cyclists, and winter sports-enthusiasts. The Way of St. James runs through the middle of the village, and the Nature Park Gantrisch (www.gantrisch.ch) offers an impressive variety of activities (e.g. Via Ferrata, rope course, paragliding, biking, (snow) hiking, cross-country skiing, etc.) The Gürbe invites you to take long walks and in summer a refreshing swim followed by a barbecue.
