For more than 100 years, the Belvédère Strandhotel has stood for traditional hospitality. Our renowned 4 **** superior house, located slightly above and overlooking the town, features a unique view of the Spiezer Bay and Lake Thun and is surrounded by a spacious garden. The hotel has 56 stylish Rooms. The hotel’s private beach on the lake, the infinity pool and the Wellness area in the hotel invite you to relax. The restaurant is well known for its creative and high quality dishes made from regional products and offers indoor and outdoor seating. In the "Captain’s Bar" we welcome you to enjoy an unforgettable sunset with a glass of wine or a drink. For celebrations and for business seminars there are elegant halls and an independent seminar wing.

Wedding

Elegant rooms in the Belle Époque style are available for parties, celebrations and weddings with up to 180 guests. A civil wedding ceremony or a drinks reception in the hotel grounds and orangery will ensure your event is unforgettable. The rooms of various sizes make it possible to hold banquets for up to 180 guests.

Separate, ultra-modern seminar wing, five light rooms overlooking the lake, additional group rooms. Fine dining with regional specialties. Large wellness area including an infinity pool. The main building dating from the last century has a legendary history: The German national football team stayed at the Belvédère before its victory in the 1954 FIFA World Cup Final, and the world-famous “Spirit of Spiez” has frequented the house ever since.
