Intro
Eggishorn circular trail and viewpoint – a 360° panorama of the Great Aletsch Glacier, at an altitude of 2,869 metres. The nine lounges offer you a unique choice of places to sit and relax, with amazing views over the glittering world of eternal ice and the impressive giant mountains all around.
The circular trail is almost 500 metres long and guarantees the most perfect views of the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage site. Information boards along the route provide interesting facts about the largest ice stream in the Alps and the surrounding mountain landscape. The circular trail starts at the Eggishorn upper station. You should plan for this easily accessible circular trail to take a good hour – stop-offs at the lounges included.
