Intro
From 30 August to 14 September 2025, the Valais will be the Mountain Bike capital of the world.
In 2025, the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships will make history with two weeks of competition from August 30 to September 14, 2025. For the first time, all eight mountain bike disciplines — cross-country, downhill, e-bike, enduro, e-enduro, marathon, pump track, and short track — will be hosted in a single region. The Valais will be the world capital of mountain biking, with eight different destinations hosting the events, while the opening ceremony will take place in Sion. This extraordinary event will bring together 1,500 athletes, uniting the best riders on the planet. Official Website
