Swim in the river? Yes, in Zurich you can! The Unterer Letten and Oberer Letten river bathing facilities provide swimming channels in the Limmat River.
The Oberer Letten has a 400-metre swimming channel in the Limmat and a two-metre high diving platform. Two beach volleyball courts on the opposite side, a boules pitch and a food kiosk complete the offer. The Unterer Letten is located near Zurich West and has a 100-metre swimming channel in the Limmat, a non-swimmer’s pool, a children's wading pool and a diving platform.
