Visitors of all ages to the popular Sattel-Hochstuckli family holiday destination can enjoy an unforgettable experience on the interactive “Geissä Wäg”, or Goat Trail. This themed trail leads from the Mostelberg to the Blüemlisberg goat farm and regales visitors with a wealth of information about the world of goats along the way.
The Sattel-Hochstuckli holiday region offers a unique experience for families: the informative “Geissä Wäg”, or Goat Trail. The themed trail, which is a joint project by Sattel-Hochstuckli AG and Blüemlisberg AG, takes you from Mostelberg (Sattel-Hochstuckli upper station) around the Engelstock to the Blüemlisberg goat farm.
During the walk, which takes around 45 minutes, visitors get to know the world of goats in a playful way through seven interactive stations. The “Geissä Wäg” has fun, games and puzzles for all, and is even accessible to buggies with sturdy wheels. In an effort to make the experience attractive to international guests as well, all stations have been translated into English. Visitors who successfully solve all the puzzles and figure out the final solution will have the chance to take part in the “Geissä” competition.
When they finally reach the Blüemlisberg goat farm, hikers will not only be rewarded with delicious cakes, but also with the farm’s own goat’s milk ice cream and other treats made from goat’s milk.
The Sattel-Hochstuckli family-friendly mountain is located in the heart of Central Switzerland between Lake Lucerne and Lake Zurich. The region can be reached easily by car or in a very short time by convenient public transport from Zug, Lucerne or Zurich.
