Intro
In Jorat Nature Discovery Park, a hiking trail through the peaceful Jorat forest has been set up for wheelchair users and people with reduced mobility.
The five-kilometre route is located between the villages of Villars-Tiercelin, Corcelles-le Jorat and Peney-le-Jorat in the heart of the woodlands of the Swiss Mittelland region. Observation posts are stationed along the trail to allow visitors to discover the region’s diverse flora and fauna in complete tranquillity. There are also playful elements designed specifically for people with reduced mobility. The densely forested Jorat is a hilly area to the north of the Lausanne metro terminus, making it easily accessible.
