The summit gallery of the panoramic viewing platform at the Stockhorn’s Northface. Here one enjoys a fantastic sweeping view to Thun, to Lake Thun and the Aare Valley.
On clear days one can even see the southern part of the Black Forest. Several informational markers for visitors interested in geology, for school groups or families are to be found in the rock gallery. The markers give insight into the geology of the Stockhorn region. In the rock gallery and near the rock windows one can also admire beautiful calcite crystals.The Stockhorn mountain train run every 30 minutes; the ride from Erlenbach in the Simmen Valley via Chrindi to the Stockhorn Mountain Station takes only 20 minutes. Guided tours can be booked, which offer interesting insights into the local history, the Bear Park, the bears and a view behind the scenes.
