Intro
Highlights in the Cantonal Painting Gallery are works of art from the 17th to the 20th century. The artists are from the areas, which were united in the Canton of Ticino in the year 1803, or from areas closely connected with this region.
In the Cantonal Painting Gallery, the work of 14 painters are exhibited. The most notable and famous among these are works by Giovanni Serodine (1600-1630) and Giuseppe Petrini (1677-1759), as well as Antonio Rinaldi.
