Who would have thought that winter sports are also practiced in Ascona? In the Mediterranean ambience surrounded by palm trees, curling, ice hockey, figure skating, skating for all, skateboarding, inline skating are practiced.
The artificial ice rink with its beautiful wooden stands was renovated in 2015 and draws spectators to its ice hockey matches, figure skating shows and curling tournaments. When it is too cold outside, you can still watch through the glass facade of the cosy Ristorante Siberia.
