Intro
From Zeiningen through forests and fields over the Chriesiberg to Wegenstetten. A relatively easy hike with good views.
Description
From the bus stop in Zeiningen, the route takes you up to Burgacherhof and then along the edge of the forest on the Zeiningerberg above the vineyards. Next, you go up the Spitzgraben and on to the Chriesiberg. Walk in the direction of Schupfart airstrip across the fertile high Table Jura plateau of Lohnberg und Wabrig and on towards Wegenstetten. Sights worth checking out on this hike include St. Agatha Church in Zeiningen, as well as the Paul Agustoni gallery on the Looberg. You can also take a break at one of the many barbecue sites along the trail.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
