Fricktaler Höhenweg
Overview
Intro
From Frick over the panoramic Schinberg ridge to the hamlet of Sennhütten.
Description
The high-level route extends from Frick railway station via Zendlematt to the edge of the woods of Frickberg. As soon as you leave the woods, a vista of the Hornussen vineyards opens up towards you. Via the Grossacher and Wettacher picnic spot, you reach Schinberghalde, from where you can see the panoramic Schinberg ridge. Now the path heads downwards along the edge of the forest to Solbacher, through the Marchwald forest and past historical border stones to the hamlet of Sennhütten, where you can stay the night. You can tackle stage 5 from Sennhütten to Mettau the next day. If you don’t want to stay the night, the bus stop in Elfingen is only 20 minutes away from Sennhütten.>
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
