8th ANIMALS, NATURE, AND US EXPO
Overview
Intro
The only Swiss trade show and platform dedicated to animals, nature, and environmental protection, featuring the presentation and sale of vegan and plant-based food and non-food products from Switzerland and Europe.
Are you interested in nature, animals, our environment, water, and the creatures that live in the depths of the ocean? This weekend, you’ll find plenty of answers to your questions, including an exciting film screening on Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m. (free admission—runtime approx. 90 min.), organized by the Swiss Wildlife Protection Association—Greenpeace Switzerland, Sea Shepherd Switzerland, the Association for the Restriction of Fireworks, and many other NGOs that are passionately committed to animal welfare.
Our exhibitors will present a wide range of vegan and plant-based food and non-food products for you to sample, marvel at, enjoy, and take home. Chocolate from the Jura, organic date specialties from Nuremberg, vegan pralines from Aargau, new tofu surprises from Soyana, fine spice blends from Eastern Switzerland, and regional risotto and Hörnli specialties in mason jars from the Emmental. VLY from Berlin and much more.
Culinary delights from “Yalla Belhana” in the Bern area with authentic Egyptian street food, as well as from the LAUCH restaurant in Basel, which showcases the potential of vegan fine dining—a real treat! If you’re in the mood for something rustic, we’ve also got a Gustl (Viennese meatloaf) with a sausage in a roll ready for you. To quench your thirst, enjoy organic-quality brews from Euelbräu in Winterthur.
As is tradition: The first 150 paying fairgoers will receive a free goodie bag on both Saturday and Sunday.
