The cello and the violin, two warm and supportive voices that blend together, both serve as solo and accompaniment instruments; from this marriage, a surprising and impressive sound image emerges. The audience will hear well-known solo and duo pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach and Ludwig van Beethoven. Additionally, listeners can expect a musical treat from the Romantic era, tango, and salon music. Let yourself be surprised by this special sibling duo! The musical bouquet is presented by the Duo Hunziker with warm tones and their sensitive interplay. Daniela Roos and Maja Hunziker are professional musicians and have performed worldwide. In addition to their great passion for chamber music, Daniela Roos, cello, plays in renowned Swiss orchestras such as the Swiss Orchestra and the Camerata Switzerland Symphony Orchestra and is active with Trio Sorriso (café music) and Duo Escarlata (cello and accordion). Maja Hunziker tours globally with her Quinteto de Tango, Sexteto Cristal, and Ensemble Vinorosso, and also performs in the Swiss Orchestra and in Barockwerk Hamburg.
