Concert Prayers
Overview
Intro
An evening of music between generations, driven by an ideal of peace and inner resilience.
On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Pablo Casals’ birth, legendary cellist and ardent advocate for peace, four generations of cellists come together around a shared ideal: to make music an act of inner resistance.
With Ophélie Gaillard, the Swiss Cellists Ensemble and the vocal ensemble Mnemusik, this evening offers much more than a tribute. The programme celebrates the power of music, capable of opening a path to resilience and saying no to violence without raising one’s voice, by choosing the depth of beauty and the strength of listening.
A musical gathering to unite, reflect, and resonate together.
