Do you dream of growing your own fresh, healthy, and organic mushrooms right at home? This workshop is for you! With Antoine, the head gardener at Les Jardins and a passionate mushroom grower, you’ll discover the Kingdom of Fungi!
What’s on the workshop agenda
Understanding the mushroom life cycle—mycelium, substrate, and fruiting explained simply
Preparing and inoculating your own substrates – Pasteurization techniques suitable for home use with readily available agricultural materials (straw, coffee grounds, wood, etc.) as well as the various containers needed to grow mushrooms at home.
Managing essential parameters – Temperature, humidity, light, and ventilation on a daily basis
Identifying and Avoiding Contamination – Recognizing Unwanted Mold and Saving Your Cultures
Harvesting and Storing – When and How to Harvest for Optimal Quality
You’ll leave with:
A personalized starter kit made with your own hands
A handy digital booklet to track and replicate your home mushroom grows
Who: Curious beginners—no prior knowledge required!

Duration: 3 hours
Held rain or shine at our nursery. Please wear clothing appropriate for the day’s weather.
The workshop requires a minimum of 6 participants (maximum 8).
