Foundation Majid in Ascona is pleased to announce the significant artistic project “In Silenzio” by Swiss artist Alexandra von Burg.

"IN SILENZIO": The Poetic Universe of Alexandra von Burg.

The Majid Foundation opens its doors for a simply unique contemplative experience: the solo exhibition of Swiss artist Alexandra von Burg. An intimate journey that celebrates the primordial beauty of nature through ninety works rich in meaning. For the Ticino artist, silence is a true creative and life choice. In a world dominated by digital noise and conflicts, von Burg's canvases offer a safe haven. Here, the sea becomes breath, solitude transforms into inner strength, and nature rises to a spiritual language. The exhibition path unfolds through Nordic seascapes, ethereal water lilies, and abstract landscapes, where color and light narrate the rhythms of the soul:

The "Cliffs" Series: Inspired by the cliffs of Étretat in Normandy.

Eternity and Transience: Skies and clouds become metaphors for emotional changeability.

Details of Life: Small birds and fragile natural elements punctuate the compositions.

With twenty-six years of experience behind her, Alexandra von Burg transforms the title of the exhibition into a true statement of intent.

"IN SILENZIO" is an invitation to rediscover the measure and depth of being, exploring the natural world through a poetic and timeless gaze.
