Parmi les vaches
Overview
Intro
When memories fade, what remains of us?
A woman goes missing. For three days, there’s no sign of her. Then she’s found twenty kilometers from her home, in the middle of a field, surrounded by cows. Yet that’s not where the story begins. Before that, there were small lapses. Details that seem insignificant. A first name slipping away, a habit fading, a point of reference wavering. Little by little, Alzheimer’s disease takes hold and transforms everyday life into uncertain territory. Memories fade, certainties blur, and the world becomes harder to recognize. With sensitivity and humanity, the play explores the impact of memory loss on those experiencing it, as well as on those who care for them. How can we continue to love, to support, and to remain present when the person we know seems to be gradually slipping away? A sensitive and deeply moving production that looks squarely at human fragility, yet with great tenderness.
