The Dance Festival
Overview
Intro
From April 30 to May 5, dance will make hearts dream and bodies move in Geneva and the rest of Switzerland!
In 2024, Geneva's Fête de la Danse deploy along the Rhone River, featuring performances and demonstrations here and there throughout the week, as well as moments of festive group dance! For grown-ups and KIDS.
Salsa, swing, Scottish counter-dance or Indian dance: people will be able to try out dozens of styles at the Maison des Arts du Grütli and at the ADEM (Ateliers d'ethno-musicologie) thanks to courses offered by numerous Geneva dance schools!
In Meyrin, a new Fête des Danses Urbaines (urban dance festival) will provide to enjoy some great moments, with your eyes and your hips. In and around the TFM.
Dance bouquets will also enliven the communes of Vernier, Lancy, Carouge, Onex and Bernex, with Dance Markets in the heart of the cities, and open-air stages for Colorful Choreographies!
