Village tour with tasting
Overview
Intro
Find out more about the origins of the Biedermeier village of Heiden. In addition to the village fire, the history of the spa town and famous personalities who left their mark on the region are also covered.
The Biedermeier village of Heiden lies on a sunny terrace high above Lake Constance, nestled in the hilly landscape of the Appenzeller Vorderland. It is an excellent starting point for hikes and offers various places of interest. Henry Dunant, the founder of the Red Cross, also appreciated the tranquillity and landscape of the village with its 4000 inhabitants.
At the end of the hike, let yourself be surprised by a little "Probiererli"!
The guided tour is free of charge and lasts 1 hour.
The start is at the tourist information office in Heiden.
