From whom do you actually get your opinion? Heinz & Werni, the two popular characters by Bruno Maurer and Christian Gysi, have never asked themselves this question. They are firmly in the saddle – not on – but in Rössli and know exactly what’s going on. Despite the information tsunami, which regularly overflows and threatens to wash the ground from under their feet, they remain optimistic. Together with their stage characters, 'Pasta del Amore' attempts to orient themselves and stumbles over the big questions of life. They throw out absurd opinions, enchant with humorous drawings, and annoy with lovespreading. Through subtle, humorous episodes, 'Pasta del Amore' offers insights into the emotional world of their keenly observed characters and creates an environment in which they fail in a comedic way. And the audience watches and laughs. Because they recognize themselves. And because it feels good to watch the others.
