Description

Welcome to Hotel Caprice in Grindelwald. Small but beautiful and lovely to the smallest detail. So the Hotel Caprice Grindelwald invites you in its third generation, to stay in one of the 24 cozy single-, double-, or superior-rooms and two apartments. The hotel is centrally located but very quiet. You will reach in a 2 - 3 minute walk the train station, the village center can be reached in about 4-5 minutes. The bus stop from where you can go for free by the local ski bus to all cable cars (Grindelwald-First, Pfingsteggbahn, Maennlichenbahn), is also 2-3 minutes away by foot from the hotel. From the same location, three different mountain bus lines drive to Bussalp (Summer & Winter), to Waldspitz (summer) and the Grosse Scheidegg (summer). Wellness oasis with whirlpool, Finnish sauna and Turkish steam bath. After an eventful day, we welcome you in our wellness oasis, where you can give your body the necessary relaxation in the bubbling Wetterhorn whirlpool.

Well-maintained B&B with wonderful views. The hosts know the best trails in Grindelwald, such as the Lake Bachalp trail, Bussalp-Waldpsitz loop and Lauberhorn loop. Bosch e-bike charging station, packed lunches, luggage transfer by the hotel, bike workshop. All rooms and suites with a balcony. Well-maintained gardens with sun loungers. For relaxation after a day’s cycling: sunbeds, infrared cabins, hay flower pool, steam bath, saunas. Generous breakfast buffet ideal for athletes.

Small but beautiful, this 3-star Alpine-chic hotel in Grindelwald offers its international guests a warm welcome down to the very last detail. The Caprice itself would be attraction enough even without the magnificent panoramic view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau – but this is, of course, also part of the experience. Getting there

Very centrally located 200 meters above the railway station Grindelwald, offers the " Caprice " primarily due to its quiet location and easy access on foot or by car. In winter snow chains, we recommend to bring along. By car: Continue to Interlaken, from here follow the signs to Grindelwald. After about 20 Km you reach the glacier village. Since Grindelwald is a long village, take the roundabout (there is only one in Grindelwald) for about 1.5 km to the village center. On the right side is the 5 * Hotel Regina and then immediately turn left through the intersection. In front of you is the Hotel Kreuz & Post, and on the left the post office. In between is a small which you follow . From here, follow our signs. You will find us 150m. above the post office.
