Intro

BlattWerk Quintett

Unter dem Titel „Figuren und Formen“ entwirft das

BlattWerk Quintett einen konzentrierten Streifzug

durch drei Jahrhunderte Musikgeschichte. Bachs

Goldberg-Variationen bilden dabei den gedanklichen

Ausgangspunkt – ein Modell kompositorischer Ordnung,

von dem aus sich der Blick auf die klangliche

und expressive Vielfalt des 19. Jahrhunderts bei Hélène

de Montgeroult und Clara Schumann öffnet.

Mit Ravels «Ma mère l’Oye» rückt die Farbe des

Klangs ins Zentrum, bevor Mendelssohns Musik zum

«Sommernachtstraum» den Bogen mit tänzerischer

Leichtigkeit schliesst. So begegnen sich unterschiedliche

Auffassungen von Form und musikalischer

Gestalt in immer neuen Konstellationen.

Das BlattWerk Quintett, in Bern beheimatet, zählt zu

den profilierten Ensembles seiner Art. Mit eigenständigen

Arrangements und dramaturgisch durchdachten

Programmen hat es sich international etabliert.
