Das Museum.BL lädt ein zur Papierwerkstatt. Aus Buchumschlägen, Textseiten und Abbildungen werden Collagen, Gefässe, Spielzeug und weiteren überraschende Objekte.

Das Museum.BL lädt ein zur Papierwerkstatt. 505 überzählige Bildbände über den Erfinder Heinrich Bachofner stehen bereit für eigene Kunstwerke: Buchumschläge, Textseiten und Abbildungen werden zu Collagen, Gefässen, Spielzeug und weiteren überraschenden Objekten.

Heinrich Bachofner beschrieb während 20 Jahren in der Abgeschiedenheit von Psychiatrien verschiedenste Erfindungen wie Luftschiffe, Elektroautos oder Magnetschwebebahnen und hielt sie in detaillierten Zeichnungen fest.

Während er vor über 100 Jahren um jedes einzelne Stück Papier kämpfen musste, gibt es in der Werkstatt im Foyer des Museum.BL Papier in Hülle und Fülle. Durch die kreative Arbeit mit den Buchseiten wird sowohl dem ausgemusterten Buchmaterial wie auch dem Erfinder Respekt gezollt.
