Hikes with the Trotteurs de la Printze

The Trotteurs de la Printze walking group organise weekly guided walks to explore the landscapes of Valais and the surrounding area. Whether you’re looking for a leisurely stroll or a more challenging hike, there are two groups so that everyone can find a route suited to their ability. The walks are led by experienced guides, all of whom hold an ESA guide qualification, and take place in a friendly atmosphere, perfect for meeting new people and enjoying a walk together.

The Thursday Walkers organise gentle walks every Thursday afternoon, with routes lasting between 2 and 3 hours and an average variation in altitude of between 100 and 300 metres. The Monday Walkers are aimed at walkers looking for more challenging routes, with walks lasting between 2½ and 4½ hours and an average variation in altitude ranging from 350 to 900 metres.

Some outings include a picnic. The routes vary with the seasons and allow you to explore both the trails in the Nendaz area and other parts of the canton of Valais. **THE 3RD OF AUGUST 2026 / SIVIEZ**

Discover the mountain scenery of Siviez on a guided hike with Les Trotteurs de la Printze. There are two routes to choose from, depending on your ability.

* Itinerary 1 : from Tracouet to Siviez via the Champ Ferret, 11,4 km, around 4 hours of walking, +577 m / -1'042 m of variation in altitude.

* Itinerary 2 : from Tortin to the Tsa, 6,5 km, around 2h15 of walking, +432 m / -431 m of variation in altitude.

Price : CHF 10.– per walker. For the itinerary 1, the ski lift fare must be added to the price of the outing.

Transport is by carpool. A contribution of CHF 5.– is requested to cover the driver’s costs

**THE 7TH OF SEPTEMBER 2026 / LE BASSO D'ALOU**

Set off to explore the mountain landscapes between Tracouet, the Dent de Nendaz, the Basso d’Alou and Siviez on a guided hike with the Trotteurs de la Printze. There are three routes to choose from, depending on your fitness level and how far you’d like to walk.

* Itinerary 1 : Tracouet – Dent de Nendaz – Basso d’Alou – Siviez, 7,9 km, around 3 hours of walking, +429 m / -898 m of variation in altitude.

* Itinerary 2 : Tracouet – Dent de Nendaz – Le Basso – Balavaux, 5,7 km, around 2h30 of walking, +528 m / -527 m of variation in altutude.

* Itinerary 3 : Tracouet – Balavaux – Le Basso – Siviez, 8,3 km, around 3h40 of walking, +396 m / -832 m of variation in altitude.

Price : CHF 10.– per walker + fare for the ski lift.

Transport is by carpool. A contribution of CHF 5.– is requested to cover the driver’s costs.

**THE 21ST OF SEPTEMBER 2026 / LE MONT-FORT**

Enjoy a day in the mountains, discovering the stunning views of the Mont Fort area. This guided hike will take you along mountain trails, through Alpine landscapes offering panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.

Price : CHF 10.– par walker + fare for the ski lift (fday pass: CHF 25.–).

Transport is by carpool. A contribution of CHF 5.– is requested to cover the driver’s costs.
