Intro
From July 11 to September 20, Yvan Schneider's exhibition #02 - Vevey Carnets Flâneurs - invites visitors on a poetic journey through sketched landscapes, journeys and daydreams.
Yvan Schneider (1959), Vevey Carnets flâneurs.
Through inks, washes and sketches inspired by the landscapes of the Val d'Hérens, this exhibition invites visitors to take a sensitive stroll between reality and imagination. The loses-roofed barns, weather-blackened timbers, furtively traced alleyways and shadows caught in the bend of a terrace make up a universe where the gaze loses itself with pleasure.
Each notebook becomes a window onto a world suggested rather than described, where the unexpected finds its place and contemplation gradually reveals the mysteries of the Alpine landscape. Between misty groves, sketched silhouettes and strange presences, a poetry of travel and strolling emerges, carried by the spontaneity of the line and the delicacy of the washes.
Exhibition opening, Saturday July 11, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
