Ötillö Swimrun Engadin
Overview
Intro
More than 37 kilometres of running, 6 kilometres of swimming, 1280 metres of altitude - and all that at 1800 metres above sea level.
The Ötillö Swimrun Engadin leads through the Upper Engadine mountain landscape from Silvaplana to Maloja and back. Participants complete nine swimming and ten running sections alternately – running is done in a wetsuit and swimming in running shoes. Whether you're a professional, a hobby athlete, or new to this extreme sport, with the different distances – "World Series," "Sprint," or "Experience" – there's something for everyone.
Good spectator locations are:
Kitesurf Beach Silvaplana, Lej Suot Silvaplana, Chastè Peninsula in Sils, and Maloja boat dock.
