Der Original Dinosaurierschädel «Lucy» jetzt im Sauriermuseum Aathal

Ein aussergewöhnlicher Fossilienfund des Sauriermuseums Aathal weckt grosses Interesse in der Paläontologie. Der im US-Bundesstaat Wyoming entdeckte Schädel eines juvenilen Langhals-Dinosauriers gilt als einer der vollständigsten weltweit. Schädel von nicht ausgewachsenen Tieren sind in der Dinosaurier-Forschung Raritäten.

Schauen Sie sich den noch im Gestein liegenden Schädel des jungen Camarasaurus «Lucy» aus der Nähe an. Eine gute Gelegenheit zu sehen, was die Feinarbeit im Labor in einem ersten, sehr aufwändigen Schritt zum Vorschein gebracht hat.
