StradivariFEST Rigi - REZITAL auf dem Gipfel
Overview
Intro
The two Stradivari musicians, Maja Weber on cello and Per Lundberg on piano, invite you to a RECITAL featuring works by Schumann, Chopin, Beethoven, and Franck.
From November 20 to 22, 2026, the renowned Stradivari musicians invite you to the ninth StradivariFEST Rigi. This year’s event will be a RECITAL featuring Maja Weber on cello and Per Lundberg on piano. This exclusive musical event promises to take classical music lovers to new heights—breathtakingly beautiful, both musically and geographically.
The entire StradivariFEST will be dedicated to the great works for cello and piano by Clara and Robert Schumann, César Franck, Frédéric Chopin, and Ludwig van Beethoven. Over three concerts spread across three evenings—each with a different ambiance and magnificent views at the uniquely situated Rigi Kulm Hotel—this extended weekend at the hotel, run with great hospitality by the Käppeli family, will feature a fireside concert, sunset concert, and the Sunday matinee. At 1,748 meters above sea level, the historic Rigi Kulm Hotel offers the perfect setting for this extraordinary music festival. The Käppeli family, with their warmth and hospitality, creates a welcoming atmosphere that underscores the special character of the StradivariFEST.
The StradivariFEST Rigi 2026 goes beyond the concert experience alone. It offers the opportunity to interact personally with the artists. After each concert, the Rigi Kulm Hotel hosts a cocktail reception that fosters casual conversation. For those who wish to engage in deeper conversation, there is the option to register for the “StradivariTISCH,” where a shared meal with the musicians allows culinary and musical delights to complement one another.
