Teufen Sheep Show
Overview
Intro
On Saturday, September 19, 2026, everything at Zeughausplatz in Teufen will revolve around sheep.
The next sheep show begins at 9:30 a.m. and offers an opportunity to see the animals up close and gain insight into regional sheep breeding.
The sheep show is an important event for the agricultural community and, at the same time, a living tradition in the Appenzell region. For breeders, it offers the chance to showcase their animals and compare notes with one another. At the same time, the show is a wonderful gathering place for the local community and anyone interested in animals, agriculture, and rural life.
