With “The Sound of Baroque,” the Classic Festival Brass Quartet, together with organist Suzanne Z’Graggen, invites you on a richly sonorous journey through time into the world of the Baroque. In the unique acoustics of the Jesuit Church in Lucerne, the radiant sound of brass instruments and majestic organ music blend into a festive listening experience of impressive depth. The program spans a wide range, from French and English Renaissance music through the Venetian canzone to the great masters of the Baroque. The professional video feed by Rudolf Bom offers a special experience. The virtuoso interplay between the organ and the brass quartet is broadcast live from the organ loft onto a screen in the chancel, allowing the audience to follow the performance with visually stunning clarity.
