Thunfest
Overview
Intro
The largest annual city festival in Switzerland with live music, fine food and refreshing drinks.
The attractive program makes the hearts of the visitors beat faster. With plenty of Swiss rock and pop music in the open air and countless bars in the alleyways, the three-day city center festival is guaranteed to have something for everyone. Every year at the beginning of August, tens of thousands make a pilgrimage to the Kyburg city to celebrate the summer and the Thunfest together with good music and friends - true to the motto "Mä gseht sech".
The Thunfest is more than just a festival. As a music fan you can enjoy more than 20 live bands and DJs while the children can let off steam in the family zone. Thunfest is a place where people meet and spend a good time together. The city will be divided thematically into different zones. Among other things, there are zones where families are in the first place, but also a party zone as well as a concert zone. With this division, the city center festival offers entertainment for young and old and becomes more manageable for the guests.
