Description

Just 10 minutes by tram from the SBB Railway Station and 12 minutes from the city centre, the royal hotel features a self-check-in terminal for 24/7 access outside reception hours. The spacious rooms include a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, a Nespresso coffee machine, a tea boiler, and free WiFi. The individually decorated rooms offer a direct-dial phone and a small fridge with complimentary mineral water and soft drinks. Ironing facilities are provided. Hotel royal’s on-site Minamoto restaurant serves a range of healthy, Japanese dishes with fresh ingredients. Short cooking times are used to preserve as many vitamins and minerals as possible. The Exhibition Centre is a 3-minute walk away. With the booking confirmation guests can use the public transport for free.

Getting there

By airplane: If you come by airplane to Basel, a taxi is the best possibility to reach the royal hotel (approximately CHF 40,00, 15/20min to the hotel). As alternative the airport bus line no. 50 is to your disposal, with which you arrive in approx. 20min at the station 'Bahnhof SBB' and from there in 12min by tram no. 2 in direction 'Eglisee' to the station 'Badischer Bahnhof'. This alternative is suitable with not much luggage and enough time reserves (approximately 45min) and is free of charge with the hotel confirmation in the hand. By train: From the station 'Bahnhof SBB' to our hotel you come fastest with the tram no. 2 toward 'Eglisee' in 12min running time, stop station 'Badischer Bahnhof' - free of charge with the hotel confirmation in the hand.
