Description

The Hotel Stadthaus Burgdorf is located on rich historical ground: The old town hall of the city of Burgdorf, built in its present appearance from 1745 to 1750, stands on the site of the old inn "Zum Weissen Kreuz" (first mentioned in 1376) and has been the scene of various memorable events. It is also called the "Rütli of the Canton of Bern". Today, the Hotel Stadthaus offers 18 hotel rooms under its roof, including two suites, a junior suite and a roof suite with 62 sqm. All rooms are furnished with period furniture, beautiful textiles and some with genuine antiques. Guests have a wide range of restaurants at their disposal: the gourmet restaurant "La Pendule" with 15 Gault Millau points, the bistro-style city café, one of the most beautiful classic ballrooms in the region and the sandstone vaulted cellar for banquets and cultural events. Our Sport & Enjoyment Package for bikers and connoisseurs: e-bike day rental, a welcome aperitif, 4-course menu in the restaurant, fruit platter in the room, overnight stay in a double room with rich breakfast: 1 person CHF 282, 2 people CHF 502.
