The hikers are taking the gondola up to Hohsaas before the ascent of the Weissmies begins. A mountain guide leads the way through the craggy terrain up to the 4023 m summit. From there they can see the Bernese Oberland and the Bernina mountain chain, beyond the Monte Rosa range. Physical fitness is required.
