Capucins – Ensemble Vocal Cantocello
Overview
Intro
Discover the unique harmony of the Ensemble Vocal Cantocello, where voices unite with the cello for a rare musical journey, conducted by Jean-Luc Waeber and Pascal Desarzens.
It is often said that the timbre of the cello evokes the human voice. While this idea may sound a bit clichéd, one can certainly hear that this magnificent instrument marries beautifully with the sounds of the voices of the Cantocello ensemble, a formation that cultivates this astonishing combination with great inspiration. Under the direction of Jean-Luc Waeber and featuring cellist Pascal Desarzens, these excellent singers offer us an intense evening blending rare works, gems from the choral repertoire, and discoveries to be savoured without moderation.
