Edna Unseld makes her Gstaad debut with a program full of sophistication: Brahms and two French classics that demand the highest sound imagination, depth of expression, and colorful virtuosity –
At the beginning of her career, she had the opportunity to play on the children’s violin of Anne-Sophie Mutter – a symbol with special radiance. For her debut in Gstaad, the young Swiss Edna Unseld has chosen Brahms and two French “hits” from the violin repertoire: works of the highest sophistication, where pure virtuosity alone is not enough! Sound fantasy, depth of expression, and the entire spectrum of colors that the violin is capable of are required.
