Val-Müstair-Talloipe
Overview
Intro
The cross-country trail between Fuldera and Tschierv winds its way pleasantly uphill through alternating woodlands of pine and larch and alongside the picturesque river Rombach.
Description
Val Müstair lies in the south-easternmost corner of Graubünden and stretches from the Pass dal Fuorn to the Venosta valley in Italy. The area is increasingly becoming a favourite cross-country skiing destination.
The challenging cross-country ski trail starts in Fuldera. The route leads first through woodland and then across the open Palüds plain before continuing alongside the picturesque river Rom to Tschierv. It is possible to join the trail in Fuldera or Tschierv.
Val Müstair has also hosted the “Tour de Ski”, a cross-country ski race that takes place in several venues over several days. For tough skiers the “Tour de Ski” trail at the end of the run in Tschierv offers the highlight to a perfect day of cross-country skiing. This part of the trail is particularly steep and challenging.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
