Intro
Sledging fun for all age groups awaits on the Wiriehorn at the heart of the Diemtigtal Nature Park. Race down this pine-tree flanked run from the top station of the chairlift to the valley below.
Description
Set out for the Wiriehorn, the Diemtigtal valley’s landmark mountain and an extensive summer alp grazing region. If you prefer to save your legs, the six-seater chairlift will whisk you in no time up to the starting point of the five-kilometre, winding sledge run. The run leads from the top station through the pine forest, and the fast branch-off run challenges even accomplished sledge riders. The end of the run is at the bottom station of the Wiriehorn chairlift. Nothing stands in the way of unlimited sledging fun!
Take the excitement up a notch by sledging after dark (in fine weather only). Enjoy a tasty fondue at the Berghotel Wiriehorn (reservation recommended) before donning a headlamp and whizzing back down to the valley.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
