There's no need to travel to the far north to enjoy ice fishing: it's also possible at an altitude of about 2000 m.a.s.l. in the heart of Switzerland.
With help from a guide, visitors can drill their own hole through the ice on the frozen Melchsee or Tannensee lakes and − with a little luck − catch a superb fish.
