Experiencing the grand organ and the choir organ of St. Ursen in their diverse tonal colors and watching the organist play is truly unique and an unforgettable experience.
The cathedral organist will guide you up the spiral staircase to the grand organ gallery and then via the tower ascent to the choir organ. He will explain organ construction from a historical perspective and provide insights into technical and stylistic aspects. By selecting and playing various registers, he will demonstrate the tonal diversity of the organs. As a surprise, you will also experience the processional organ from 1696, which has only recently been on deposit in St. Ursen.
