Intro

A ritual arrangement of branches and feathers in front of mirrors: following the Battle of Grandson, gold and death stand face to face.

A ritual installation of branches and feathers arranged in front of mirrors, this work presents a symbolic scene in which nature and reflection engage in dialogue. Inspired by the echoes of the Battle of Grandson, it brings together two powerful realities: gold, a symbol of wealth and victory, and death, ever-present in the aftermath of battle.

‎‎

Visitors are invited to confront these contrasts through their own reflection. The mirrors thus become a space for intimate projection, questioning the choices, fate and consequences of human actions. Between the fragile beauty of the feathers and the ruggedness of the branches, the installation creates a poetic tension that invites reflection.
