Intro
This is the fourth edition of the Night Hike in Ovronnaz. Come and join us for our night hike.
Join our guide and witness the sunrise from Grand Garde, high above Ovronnaz. After your early morning efforts, enjoy the birdsong, a photo session in the golden light, and breakfast in front of a breathtaking panorama.
This nighttime hike takes you from Ovronnaz to Grand Garde via the Odonne alpine pasture. It’s a great opportunity to reconnect with nature’s rhythm and experience the magical atmosphere of dawn.
Route:
Ovronnaz chairlift – Odonne by vehicle
Odonne – Grand Garde – Odonne on foot
Odonne – Ovronnaz chairlift by vehicle
Level: Intermediate / advanced – from age 15
Meeting point: Ovronnaz, Jorasse chairlift parking
Duration: Approx. 6h30 (around 4h30 effective hiking)
Elevation gain/loss: +552 m / -552 m
Distance: 6.2 km
Sturdy hiking shoes, a headlamp (mandatory), and warm clothing required
