On your marks, get set, go! invites visitors to view the future not as something distant, but as something we create ourselves - step by step, track by track, choice by choice.
On your marks, get set, go! (German: "Auf die Plätze, fertig, los!") captures the moment of excitement before the race, when the future is still open. The exhibition focuses on what unfolds instead of what is written down and asks: What traces do we leave behind? What will be remembered, what will disappear? In the fast-paced age of AI, the decisive answer is: it's about readiness and intention, not mere speed.
Works from the Baloise Collection enter into a dialog with invited artists. With this selection, the curator invites visitors to consider the future not as something distant, but as something we create ourselves - step by step, trace by trace, choice by choice.
